Wells caught 4 of 5 targets for 28 yards and two touchdowns during Thursday's 45-44 overtime loss versus North Texas.
Analysis:Wells made the most of his four receptions, turning two of them into touchdowns. The wideout was a red zone favorite for quarterback Baylor Hayes on Friday, having not logged a touchdown until then. Despite the scores, his yardage was modest, though it is important to note that he has been seeing more targets with Jimmy Calloway (undisclosed) sidelined.
