Thybulle will start Monday's preseason game against the Kings, Khobi Price of The California Post reports.
Analysis:The Lakers will be without Austin Reaves (ankle) and Walker Kessler (finger) in their preseason opener, so the club will start Luka Doncic, Quentin Grimes, Ziaire Williams, Kevon Looney and Thybulle. The defensive-minded swingman is competing for a starting spot ahead of the regular season.
