Washington was waived by the Dolphins on Monday, David Furones of the South Florida Sun Sentinel reports.
Analysis:Washington was signed to the active roster with Miami on Saturday after opening the season as a member of the team's practice squad. The running back didn't see any action in the Dolphins' 15-10 loss to Minnesota on Sunday, and he will now be placed on waivers. If Washington goes unclaimed, there's a good chance that he returns to Miami's practice squad.
