Edey (ankle) is not in the starting lineup for Monday's preseason game against the Hawks, Damichael Cole of The Memphis Commercial Appeal reports.
Analysis:Edey is not expected to play in Monday's exhibition, and it's unclear if he'll suit up at all for the preseason. However, he is expected to be ready for the start of the regular season. Edey was active at training camp, participating in all practices and 5-on-5 work, and he's reportedly moving around exceptionally well following ankle surgery in March.
