Ford tallied 16 rushes for 45 yards and reeled in all three targets for 18 yards during Saturday's 57-3 defeat to Wake Forest.
Analysis:Ford had a tough time hitting on all cylinders against a hungry Demon Deacons defense, which limited him to 2.8 yards per rushing attempt. His backfield mate, Sedrick Irvin, managed just six totes for 10 yards, or 1.7 yards per attempt, so it was tough sledding all around. It won't get any easier, as Ford and the Cardinal travel to Notre Dame next week.
