Yates gathered in 2 of 5 targets for 47 yards during Friday's 35-33 victory over Virginia Tech.
Analysis:Yates didn't have a lot of opportunities, but he had catches of 17 and 30 yards. Should anything happen to force Cataurus Hicks and/or Censere Lee to the shelf, Yates has proven that he has the potential to step right in and do big things.
