Atkinson could do no wrong against Colorado State completing 31-of-34 pass attempts for 427 yards and five touchdowns in the Oregon State 56-26 win over the Rams on Saturday.
Analysis:The Mercer transfer has been everything that the Beavers have wanted. The sophomore has already 1,850 passing yards and 18 total touchdowns, 16 through the air, in the first five games. Atkinson will surely add to his totals in the next contest, Oct. 10 against San Diego State. The Aztecs defense is near the bottom of the nation against the pass.
