Barnes said he injured his knee during the opening minute of Saturday's preseason loss to Miami and is still experiencing some soreness, Josh Lewenberg of TSN.ca reports.
Analysis:Barnes was able to play through the injury for the remainder of the first half before being held out after halftime as a precaution. He recorded 11 points (5-11 FG, 0-1 3Pt, 1-2 FT), three steals, two rebounds and two assists across 12 minutes in Saturday's 129-105 preseason loss to the Heat. Barnes is receiving treatment and doesn't expect the issue to be a concern, while Toronto won't play again until Saturday against the Clippers.
