Hughes tallied 10 carries for 27 yards and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for 19 yards during Saturday's 27-17 victory versus UCF.
Analysis:Hughes was out-carried by Re'Shaun Sanford in his second straight game Saturday, but this time he received just over half of the carries as his teammate. Hughes wasn't particularly productive with his 10 carries either, gaining just 2.7 yards per attempt. While it's unclear if Sanford has taken over the backfield for good, Hughes will still receive a lot of work and the most likely situation is that the two will just split the backfield moving forward.
