Gilgeous-Alexander will not play in Tuesday's preseason opener against the Pelicans, Clemente Almanza of USA Today reports.
Analysis:Gilgeous-Alexander will travel with the team to Tulsa but won't see game action. The absence appears to be part of Oklahoma City's plan to manage its primary rotation players throughout a five-game preseason slate, and there's no injury to report.
