Georgia's head coach Kirby Smart announced Monday that Blackshear has an upper-body injury, Jordan D. Hill of 247Sports reports.
Analysis:Blackshear's statistical production in Week 5 did not give off the feeling that he suffered an injury, but because of it, his injury is questionable going into arguably Georgia's biggest game of the 2026 regular season next Saturday at Alabama. Back in Week 5, he caught three of his four targeted passes for 33 yards against Vanderbilt.
