Roy (lower body) is day-to-day, per Sammi Silber of The Hockey News on Monday.
Analysis:Roy didn't participate in Monday's practice after getting hurt in Saturday's 3-1 loss to Tampa Bay. If the 31-year-old Roy isn't available for Wednesday's home opener against Pittsburgh, Dylan McIlrath will probably make his 2026-27 debut.
