Bedard (shoulder) was on the ice for Monday's practice session, Scott Powers of The Athletic reports.
Analysis:Bedard is not expected to make his season debut until November, but his presence at Monday's practice is certainly a step in the right direction as he recovers from summer shoulder surgery. Given the length of his absence at the start of the season, the 21-year-old center is unlikely to reach the 70-point mark this year. Still, once cleared to play, Bedard figures to be a point-per-game player with significant offensive upside after Chicago improved his supporting cast with the likes of Patrick Kane and Bowen Byram.
