Poitras (lower body) will be activated from injured reserve ahead of his return to the lineup against Ottawa on Monday, Jack Studley of Boston Hockey Now reports.
Analysis:Poitras sat out the first three games of the 2026-27 campaign after getting hurt during training camp. He had one goal, eight shots on net and two blocked shots in three regular-season appearances for Boston in 2025-26. Poitras is poised to replace Sean Kuraly on the fourth line in Monday's matchup against the Senators.
