Brown (knee) is cleared to participate in practice before Saturday's game against South Carolina, Edgar Thompson of the Orlando Sentinel reports.
Analysis:Brown's practice clearance lets him physically start getting back on track for Week 6, and although the wide receiver did not do everything possible Monday, he took a step in the right direction. Florida's head coach Jon Sumrall said that Brown is trending positively but is unsure whether or not the wide receiver will play against South Carolina. For now, Brown's injury status is questionable before Saturday, and the SEC availability report may clarify his progress beforehand.
