Moore completed 1 of 5 passes for 34 yards and two interceptions during Saturday's 61-7 defeat to New Mexico. He also had 11 rushes for 135 yards with a touchdown.
Analysis:Moore took over under center after EJ Colson (undisclosed) left the game with an injury. Moore, a sophomore transfer from Morgan State, failed to get anything going through the air, though he did show off his ability as a runner, ultimately leading UTEP in rushing yards, thanks in large part to his 86-yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter. Moore completed 54.2 percent of his passes for 1,049 yards, nine touchdowns and seven interceptions across nine games in the FCS ranks last season while rushing for 414 yards and six scores. He'll likely get another shot under center next week against Nevada, if Colson is unable to go.
