Garland will start in Sunday's preseason opener against the Warriors, but he will only play the first half of the game, Joey Linn of SI.com reports.
Analysis:Garland is headed into his first full season in Los Angeles with expectations he'll shoulder a heavy load offensively now that Kawhi Leonard is in Toronto. The veteran guard was limited to 45 total regular-season games in the 2025-26 campaign while splitting his time between the Cavaliers and Clippers, but Garland is healthy entering the new campaign.
