Maiava completed 21 of 34 passes for 245 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 25-21 win against Washington.
Analysis:Maiava Apthy directed the offense again, but his yardage total was his lowest of the season, and he also recorded his third interception. USC's defense continued to struggle, a hurdle Maiava and the offense have found difficult to overcome. Maiava may be able to take advantage of a Penn State program in disarray as the Trojans travel to Happy Valley next week.
