Jones is still dealing with an undisclosed injury, Bret Bloomquist of the El Paso Times reports.
Analysis:Jones was listed as questionable on UTEP's initial injury report and ultimately did not suit up Saturday. In his absence, running back Chris Hunter saw more carries. It remains unclear what Jones is dealing with, but he will aim to return against Nevada in a Week 6 matchup.
