Browne completed 18 of 27 passes for 255 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 24-17 win over Illinois.
Analysis:Browne's numbers have been a mixed bag depending on the competition, but there's no denying he can be prolific when the defense gives him enough opportunities. The Illini gave him just enough to be effective in a surprise upset over an Illini squad that failed to show the offensive efficiency it has shown previously in the season. In Week 6, Browne faces a surging Minnesota squad that knocked off Washington and Michigan over the past two weeks.
