Lewis has been promoted from the England U21 squad to the senior team ahead of Tuesday's Nations League clash against Czechia at Wembley, according to the England National Team.
Analysis:Lewis earned the senior promotion after helping England U21s secure qualification for the 2027 European Under-21 Championship. The call-up gives the full-back an opportunity for senior international minutes despite his reduced role at Manchester City this season. Lewis started the Premier League opener at right-back but has since fallen behind Matheus Nunes and Abdukodir Khusanov in the competition for playing time.
