West Virginia's Cam Cook: Delivers in the shootout

Rotowire• ·

Cook notched 20 carries for 142 yards and two touchdowns and hauled in 2 of 3 targets for five yards during Saturday's 45-42 defeat against Iowa State.

Analysis:

Cook found the end zone twice and played a major role in West Virginia's offensive output. Even with Michael Hawkins accounting for so much of the rushing production, Cook continued to capitalize on scoring opportunities and big plays, including a pair of second-half touchdowns that helped the Mountaineers briefly take the lead. In an offense that is production chunk plays at every level, Cook is proving he can remain fantasy relevant even while sharing the spotlight with one of the conference's most dynamic quarterbacks.
