Edwards compiled 20 rushes for 137 yards and three touchdowns and hauled in their only target for 30 yards during Saturday's 55-0 win over Middle Tennessee State.
Analysis:Edwards stepped into a featured role after the loss of Yasin Willis for the season. Kansas overwhelmed the Blue Raiders on the ground from start to finish, but Edwards was clearly the centerpiece, recording his first 100-yard game as a Jayhawk and accounting for three of the team's six rushing scores. The matchup was favorable, but the workload is what should catch managers' attention, as Edwards looks poised to handle the majority of Kansas' backfield touches moving forward and has the explosive playmaking ability to turn that volume into weekly RB1 production.
