Jenkins completed 3 of 3 passes for 65 yards during Saturday's 55-0 win over Middle Tennessee State. He also had three rushes for 53 yards with one touchdown.
Analysis:Jenkins saw extended second-half action and made the most of it with usual backup Cole Ballard sidelined with an injury. The game was long decided by the time he entered, but his usage reinforced that he is currently next in line for meaningful quarterback snaps behind Isaiah Marshall. This performance provides a reminder that Jenkins could have some rushing appeal if injuries ever force him into a larger role.
