Hammond completed 17 of 26 passes for 134 yards and one touchdown during Saturday's 29-7 victory against Colorado. He also had five rushes for seven yards.
Analysis:Hammond and the Texas Tech offense never found much rhythm in the win at Colorado while the defense generated four interceptions and repeatedly handed the offense favorable field position. Texas Tech has now won five straight games, but this was another reminder that Hammond's fantasy ceiling is closely tied to game environment, as the Red Raiders simply didn't need him to chase points or carry the offense. Texas Tech is on a bye next week before returning to play Arizona State.
