TCU's Jaden Craig: Turnover trouble strikes again

Rotowire• ·

Craig completed 18 of 25 passes for 187 yards, one touchdown and one interception during Saturday's 17-10 defeat to Brigham Young. He also had seven rushes for -27 yards.

Analysis:

Craig's interception set up a BYU touchdown and proved to be the game's only turnover in the loss. The concern for fantasy managers is that Craig now has thrown at least one interception in three straight games, and his production has dipped considerably when facing Power Conference defenses compared to softer opponents. Going forward, Craig looks more like a streaming option than a weekly starter, with his fantasy value tied heavily to game script and passing volume. Against weaker defenses or in projected shootouts he can still deliver QB1-level weeks, but tougher Big 12 matchups are exposing a lower floor than his early-season numbers suggested.
