Meichtry suffered a hip strain while playing with Switzerland U-21 and will skip at least Saturday's clash with Fiorentina, Primo Canale reported.
Analysis:Meichtry is considered at risk also for the Roma contest a week later, as his injury is pretty substantial. He has played consistently off the bench so far but never logged more than 16 minutes. Junior Messias, Hamed Traore, Tommaso Baldanzi and Stephan El Shaarawy will pick up the slack.
