Firkus scored twice and added two assists in AHL Coachella Valley's 6-2 win over Ontario on Saturday.
Analysis:Firkus is off to a hot start with two goals and four assists over two games this season. He had 21 goals and 35 assists over 63 regular-season outings for the Firebirds last year, a big step up from his 36-point rookie year. Given his advancements in production, Firkus could be a candidate to make his NHL debut in 2026-27.
