Sagapolutele (head) was medically cleared to return to the Golden Bears' 39-31 loss to UNLV according to head coach Tosh Lupoi, per Thomas Dunn of On3.
Analysis:Sagapolutele was knocked out of California's loss to the Runnin' Rebels in the first half after suffering what appeared to be a head injury. He was replaced by Jackson Brousseau, who tossed for 200 yards and two touchdowns in his stead. Though the quarterback was medically cleared to return, Lupoi said he "made the decision not to jeopardize Jaron's health." Thus, he's still a question mark for Cal moving forward; the Golden Bears host Virginia Tech in Week 6.
