Ford (undisclosed) is out against Texas State on Saturday.
Analysis:Ford was previously listed as doubtful, and now he's been ruled out to the surprise of nobody. The Aztecs will have to make do without their starting tight end who caught five passes for 35 yards last week at Toledo.
