Leavitt (hamstring) was announced as the Tigers' starter in Week 5 against McNeese State, per Jon Blau of The Charleston Post and Courier.
Analysis:Leavitt was spotted warming up for LSU, and he was also listed as the Tigers' starter on the team's lineup cards. Against an FCS opponent like McNeese State, the Tigers shouldn't have to utilize Leavitt all that much in what should be a blowout victory. Still, it appears he'll take the first snaps under center for LSU.
