Gaines (upper body) is uniform and participating in warmups ahead of Saturday's game against Utah State, per B.J. Rains of Bronco Nation News.
Analysis:Gaines is a game-time call for Saturday, though his participation during warmups is a positive sign for his availability. The running back is trending in the right direction as he looks to return to the field after missing last week's game against Western Michigan.
