Pastujov scored twice and added an assist in AHL Laval's 6-1 win over Syracuse on Saturday.
Analysis:Pastujov was held scoreless in Laval's season opener Friday, but he made up for it Saturday. The winger had a career-best 57 points over 71 regular-season outings with San Diego in 2025-26. While the change of scenery doesn't meaningfully improve his NHL chances this year, he should be a reliable scorer at the AHL level.
