The Jets elevated Shepard from their practice squad to their active roster Saturday.
Analysis:Shepard is set to suit up on game day for the second straight week. Last Sunday in Detroit, the veteran wideout logged a healthy workload of 30 offensive snaps -- third-most among New York wideouts -- and caught his only target for three yards. Shepard could also garner a significant role this Sunday due to Adonai Mitchell again being ruled out due to a finger injury.
