Vaughn isn't in the lineup Saturday for Game 1 of the National League Division Series against the Padres.
Analysis:Vaughn is on the Brewers' NLDS roster and fully healthy after ending the regular season on the injured list due to an illness, but Milwaukee will keep him on the bench to begin Game 1 despite a matchup against left-hander Robbie Ray. While Vaughn sits, Jake Bauers will start at first base, and Christian Yelich will serve as the designated hitter.
