Sama (upper body) wasn't announced as the starting running back ahead of Saturday's game versus Michigan State, Evan Flood of On3.com reports.
Analysis:Sama's absence from the starting announcements doesn't necessarily rule him out, but he's been the primary back for the Badgers when healthy. Darrion Dupree played well after his departure last week and could see ample run again this week, especially if Sama is ultimately unable to give it a go. Sama's absence from the starting lineup seemingly suggests he'll be limited if he can play, and an earlier report from Pete Thamel of ESPN.com suggested there's pessimism surrounding his status.
