Odom will start over Steve Angeli in Saturday's game at UConn, Tim Leonard of ESPN Syracuse reports.
Analysis:It is unknown why exactly Odom is starting over Angeli, whether it is because of an injury or Syracuse preferring to start the former under center. In small doses, Odom has shown promise, with nine completions on 10 pass attempts for 56 yards and a touchdown with this year's Orange. The question is whether he can replicate his previous success in a greater setting and with a bigger sample size. Though it may be a temporary endeavor, Odom will look to prove he has what it takes by excelling against the independent UConn.
