Johnson has been cleared to play in Saturday's game versus Central Florida, Joseph Duarte of the Houston Chronicle reports.
Analysis:Johnson, who's eligibility has been up in the air and has forced him out of the first part of the season, has now been cleared to play. The senior has caught seven touchdowns across his career with Houston and figures to play a solid role in the Cougars' high-powered offense now that he's available.
