Lane (undisclosed) is out for Saturday's game versus Michigan State, per the Big Ten availability report.
Analysis:Lane, who appeared in each of the first four games of the season, has been ruled out for Week 5. He has not received a carry yet this season, so his absence won't impact the offense much. His next chance to play is Oct. 17 at UCLA.
