Cubarsi was not included in the squad for Saturday's clash against Czechia, likely for resting reasons, according to Alfredo Martinez of Onda Cero Radio
Analysis:Cubarsi has started five of Barcelona's seven LaLiga matches to open the season and remains the clear first choice at center back, building on a World Cup winning summer in which he was named the tournament's best young player at just 19 years old. Resting him during this stretch fits a pattern of managing a key player's workload given his heavy early season minutes.
