Lorenz scored two goals in AHL Iowa's 4-3 shootout loss to Texas on Friday.
Analysis:Lorenz made three appearances late in the 2025-26 campaign for Iowa. He spent the bulk of last year with the University of Denver, earning 35 points over 43 games in his senior year of college. He'll now look to keep his scoring success up as he adjusts to the AHL, and he's off to a fantastic start.
