Bologna have sacked coach Domenico Tedesco and replaced him with Raffaele Palladino after three defeats and a draw from four Serie A matches so far this season, the club said Wednesday.
Tedesco took over as Bologna coach in June and is the second casualty of the Italian season after Fiorentina fired Fabio Grosso a week ago.
Bologna wished Tedesco well and thanked him and his support staff for "his professionalism and competence".
Palladino, 42, led Atalanta through a difficult patch at the end of last season, and has signed a three-year deal at Bologna.
