Los Angeles Chargers wide receiver Ladd McConkey suffered a rib injury in the team's season opener and is considered day-to-day, head coach Jim Harbaugh said Monday, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter.

The Chargers will monitor McConkey's progress throughout the week, and his status for Week 2 is up in the air.

McConkey left Sunday's game late in the third quarter and didn't return. He took a big hit while crossing the middle of the field on a pass attempt that fell incomplete. The third-year wideout finished with a team-leading 82 receiving yards and a touchdown on five receptions.

Los Angeles fell to 0-1 after suffering a 26-14 defeat to the Arizona Cardinals. The Chargers' offense struggled to push the ball down the field, totaling just 268 yards. On throws of 10 or more air yards, quarterback Justin Herbert completed 7 of 14 attempts for 112 yards and an interception, according to TruMedia.

Herbert was under duress throughout the contest. The Chargers' 42.9% pressure rate surrendered ranked 23rd among all teams so far in Week 1. Herbert finished with 209 passing yards while getting sacked three times.

The Chargers will host the Las Vegas Raiders in Week 2, with kickoff scheduled for Sunday at 4:25 p.m. ET.
