Garcia, one of the biggest stars in boxing, is defending the 147-pound title for the first time since dethroning Mario Barrios in dominant fashion in February. The 28-year-old American is seeking his first winning streak since 2022 after an up-and-down last few years, which include a no-contest against Devin Haney in 2024 and a loss to Rolly Romero in 2025. Garcia is 25-2 (1 NC) as a professional.

Benn is coming off a win over Regis Prograis in April, months after becoming the mandatory challenger for the title. The 29-year-old London native is riding a two-fight winning streak - which also includes a victory over Chris Eubank Jr. last November - and boasts a 25-1 record.
