Scott could get the WR3 nod over Derek Meadows ahead of the Week 1 matchup against East Carolina on Saturday, according to Nick Kelly of AL.com. "Rico is the guy who's been around a little bit longer," DeBoer said on the SEC coaches teleconference. "Probably give the nod to him."
Analysis:Scott seems to have the edge over Meadows to be one of the starting wideouts in Week 1 alongside Ryan Coleman-Williams and Lotzeir Brooks. Scott appeared in nine games in the 2025 season, catching 11 passes for 98 yards and two touchdowns.
