Analysis:Carter was previously expected to be back soon, and with him being projected as an option at tight end, he is positioned to suit up Friday. The transfer from Albany is listed as the third option at tight end with Carson Bruhn and Jailen Butler ahead of him. If good to go against LIU, he could see some snaps considering he is coming off a season where he hauled in 27 receptions for 338 yards and four touchdowns for the Great Danes.
