Hiter (undisclosed) will play in Week 1 against Western Michigan, per Brice Marich of 247Sports.
Analysis:Hiter was banged up in fall camp and didn't play in the Wolverines' scrimmage in late August. The prized former five-star recruit is expected to be Michigan's RB2 behind returner Jordan Marshall, who ran for 932 yards and 10 touchdowns on 6.2 yards per carry last season. Still, Hiter should get plenty of work in Michigan's offense and he'll get his first chance to make an impact in Week 1.
