The Orioles designated Weston for assignment Tuesday.
Analysis:Baltimore selected Weston's contract from Norfolk in late May, and he's had two brief stints in the majors this season. He made his MLB debut May 28 with a scoreless frame against Toronto but has now lost his place on the 40-man roster without making another appearance.
