Timber has completed a transfer to Crystal Palace following his exit from Ligue 1 squad Marseille, the club announced Tuesday.
Analysis:Timber will reinforce a Palace midfield that lacked a more dynamic alternative to Daichi Kamada, Adam Wharton and Jefferson Lerma. The 25-year-old has also played on the left wing at times, so his exact role in his new team remains unclear. He recently represented the Netherlands at the 2026 World Cup, where he recorded 54 minutes of play as a substitute. Before that, he had seen his most successful moments while playing for Feyenoord in Eredivisie at the beginning of the 2025/26 season.
