The Cowboys signed Hudson to a practice-squad contract Tuesday.
Analysis:Hudson linked up with Dallas as an undrafted free agent in early May. He performed well in preseason play, catching seven of eight targets for 120 yards and a touchdown over three games. Though Hudson was cut Sunday, he cleared waivers and will open the campaign on the Cowboys' practice squad.
